Everything we publish is built from primary sources and verified against the live record before publication. We cite where our figures come from, we flag what we can't confirm, and we correct errors as we find them.
How we produce content.
Every article begins with the source material: platform fee schedules, CFTC filings, regulator databases, and the data a given market resolves on. We draft and edit each piece around that evidence, verifying claims against it before publishing.
How we check facts.
We verify the specifics against the source before anything goes out, including:
- Fees, contract terms, and expiry dates are confirmed against each platform's live schedule, not a cached or third-party copy.
- Regulatory status comes from the regulator itself: CFTC registration, orders, and filings, not a platform's own description of them.
- Resolution sources are named and checked, whether a contract settles on a BLS print, a NOAA report, or an official vote count.
- Availability is confirmed against what each platform actually offers, which differs by state and country.
- Every figure ties to a dated primary source. Anything we can't confirm is marked unconfirmed or left out.
