Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, and protect your information, and what rights you have.
Last Updated: July 2026 · Reviewed quarterly.
Overview.
InsidePredictions is a prediction market intelligence platform. We publish news and analysis, run a live scanner that compares prices across prediction market platforms, and provide tools and optional accounts with alerts. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the control you have over it.
InsidePredictions is free to read, with an optional account. You can browse our content, tools, and market data without signing in. If you create an account, we collect what we need to run it: your email, the events you follow, your discovery preferences, and any alerts or emails you ask us to send. We use analytics to understand how the site is used, and service providers to handle things like hosting, email, and payments. We do not sell your personal information.
We are an information and comparison service, not a trading platform. We do not process trades, hold funds, or manage trading accounts. When you click through to a prediction market platform, that platform's own privacy policy governs how it handles your data from that point on.
Who we are.
InsidePredictions is an independently operated resource covering prediction markets. We provide educational content, platform reviews, comparison tools, and news coverage of the prediction market industry.
For the purposes of applicable data protection law, InsidePredictions is the data controller (under GDPR) and data user (under Hong Kong's Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance) for personal information collected through this site.
If you have questions about this policy or how we handle your data, contact us at:
Information we collect.
Information you provide.
Account information: If you create an account, we collect your email address and any details you choose to add, such as a display name, your country, or social handles. If you sign in through a third-party login, we receive basic identity information from that provider.
Messages you send us: If you use our contact form or email us, we collect your name, email address, and the contents of your message so we can respond.
Feedback: If you complete an optional survey, such as when changing your plan, we keep the response to understand and improve the product.
Information collected automatically.
Technical and usage data: As with most websites, standard information is recorded when you visit, such as your IP address, device and browser type, referring page, pages viewed, and timestamps. We use this to operate the site, keep it secure, and understand how it is used.
Approximate location: We use your IP address to estimate your approximate location at the country level, so we can show region-relevant information and help keep the service secure. Where you create an account, we may keep limited technical details associated with your signup.
How you found us: If you arrive from a link, an advertisement, or a search, we may record how you arrived, such as the referring page or campaign information in the link, to understand how people reach the site.
Analytics: We use analytics to understand how the site is used, such as which pages are visited and which links are clicked, so we can improve it. This relies on cookies and is used in aggregate to improve the site, not to build advertising profiles about you.
What we don't do.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to target you with third-party advertising. Our fonts are self-hosted, so no third-party font service is contacted when pages load.
How we use your information.
We use the information we collect to:
Run your account and features that you use, such as followed events, discovery preferences, and alerts.
Send communications you have asked for, such as alerts, briefings, or digests. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
Process payments for paid plans, through our payment provider.
Respond to you when you contact us through our contact form or by email.
Understand and improve how the site is used, and keep it secure.

We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
Service providers: The providers described above process data on our behalf as needed to operate the site. They are bound to use your data only for the services they provide to us.
Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or an enforceable governmental request.
Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction. We would notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
Your privacy rights.
Depending on where you are located, you may have specific rights regarding your personal information. We respect these rights regardless of where you live, though the legal basis and specific mechanisms may differ.
Rights for all visitors.
Regardless of your location, you can: unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in every email; request access to or deletion of the personal data we hold about you by emailing info@insidepredictions.com; and control cookies through your browser settings.

These include the right to access the personal data we hold about you, the right to have your data corrected if inaccurate, the right to have your data deleted (the 'right to be forgotten'), the right to restrict or object to certain processing, the right to data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Our legal bases for processing your data are: consent (for optional communications such as our newsletter); contract performance (for running your account and responding to your requests); legitimate interests (for operating, securing, and improving the site); and legal obligation (where applicable).
To exercise any of these rights, email info@insidepredictions.com. We will respond within 30 days.

InsidePredictions serves a global audience. Our service providers may process data in jurisdictions outside your own, including the United States.
Where personal data is transferred from the EEA, UK, or other jurisdictions with data transfer restrictions, we rely on our providers' compliance mechanisms, which may include Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), adequacy decisions, or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.
If you have concerns about international data transfers, contact us at info@insidepredictions.com.
Children's privacy.
InsidePredictions is not directed at children under 18. Prediction market trading is restricted to adults in all jurisdictions we are aware of. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information to us, contact us at info@insidepredictions.com and we will delete it promptly.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the personal information we collect. Our site is served over HTTPS, and our backend infrastructure provides encryption at rest and in transit.
However, no method of transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. If you have concerns about the security of your data, contact us at info@insidepredictions.com.
